DESCRIPTION:  Eddie Vedder, lead man from the alternative rock band Pearl Jam, once told me that in his younger days, he used to come to the San Diego Improv comedy club to watch me perform stand-up. He said he would surf most of the day and then hustle over to the club if I was performing that weekend. I was beyond flattered that he was a fan.
