ABOUT THE IMAGE:  Rare hand-painted limited edition pan cel, created to promote the Warner Bros. animated short, Carrotblanca, a spoof on the classic film Casablanca. Over 15 Looney Tunes characters are displayed, including Sylvester, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Pepé Le Pew, Porky Pig, and of course Bugs, in his best Humphrey Bogart attire. A nice Title Card cel with the Carrotblanca logo is matted along with the cel and printed background.

ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Hand-painted limited edition cels showcase legendary characters and recreate classic moments from great cartoons, using the same materials and techniques as were used in making the originals. Cel painting is a time-honored, and extremely exacting process requiring that each color be individually applied by hand.
