Giclée printing is a process that uses fade-resistant, archival inks and archival substrates to print on large format printers. The run of prints are capped at a specific number. Limited edition prints can be more valuable to art collectors than prints without a restricted number of copies because of the rarity of the prints. Each piece is hand-numbered and embellished by the artist. Each piece also includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

Manuel’s meticulous attention to detail is the hallmark to his paintings. Traditionally trained, Manuel Hernandez, a Southern California native was originally inspired and influenced by the contemporary illustrative works of J.C. Leyendecker, Dean Cornwell and Norman Rockwell. Having studied and apprenticed as an illustrator, Manuel Hernandez developed his skills with pen and brush to a level of mastery that would come to satisfy even the most discerning eye of some of the more critical Disney art traditionalists.
When asked to contribute his artistic interpretation of the Walt Disney legend Hernandez set about to create a fresh perspective utilizing a modern Americana theme made famous by his early illustrative influences. Armed with many years of study and an equally demanding self-drive for perfectionism, Hernandez incorporated the powerful style of Muralist Diego Rivera, which when blended with his illustrative technique helped to create the unique and passionate artwork, he would become famous for.
ABOUT THE FILM: Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a 1988 live-action/animated comedy-mystery film loosely based on the 1981 novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit? by Gary K. Wolf, the film stars Bob Hoskins, Christopher Lloyd, Charles Fleischer, Stubby Kaye and Joanna Cassidy. Set in a 1947 version of Hollywood where cartoon characters and people co-exist, the film follows Eddie Valiant, a private investigator who must exonerate Roger Rabbit, a "Toon" (i.e., cartoon character) who is accused of murdering a wealthy businessman.
Walt Disney Pictures purchased the film rights for the film's story in 1981. Price and Seaman wrote two drafts of the script before Disney brought in executive producer Steven Spielberg and his production company, Amblin Entertainment. Zemeckis was brought on to direct the film while Canadian animator Richard Williams was hired to supervise the animation sequences.
The film received acclaim from critics, who praised its visuals, humor, writing and performances. It won three Academy Awards for Best Film Editing, Best Sound Effects Editing and Best Visual Effects and received a Special Achievement Academy Award for its animation direction by Williams.
