This episode comprises three parts, in which Batman was drawn by three different artists, Frank Miller, Dick Sprang, and Bruce Timm, specifically to show how adaptable The Dark Knight can be to different artistic styles. The animation for this limited edition was created at Warner Bros. Animation Studios. Each piece in the edition of 250 has been signed by Batman: The Animated Series producer, Bruce Timm, and episode director, Dan Riba.
