Cinderella (1950) is a Disney animated musical fantasy film based on Charles Perrault’s fairy tale. The film was directed by Wilfred Jackson, Hamilton Luske, and Clyde Geronimi. It tells the story of a kind and beautiful young woman who dreams of escaping her cruel stepfamily and finding true love with a prince. With the help of her Fairy Godmother and some friendly mice, she gets a chance to attend a royal ball where she meets Prince Charming. However, she must return home before midnight before the magic wears off.
