ABOUT THE IMAGE: Similar to a pencil test for rough animation, an inker's test is the first pass of the cel inking process. The ink lines on the test cel will be used as a guideline for the final line work. This inker's test was created in 1991. It was also painted to create the effect of a "finished" cel. A piece of 12 Field animation paper has been placed behind the inker's test as a mock background.
