Jorgen Klubien
About the Artist
Jørgen Klubien is a Danish animator, storyboard artist, and writer who has worked on many Disney films. He was born on May 20, 1958, in Copenhagen, Denmark. He studied animation at CalArts and joined Disney in 1989. Some of his notable works include The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), The Lion King (1994), A Bug’s Life (1998), Cars (2006), and Frankenweenie (2012). He also contributed to other films such as James and the Giant Peach (1996), Toy Story 2 (1999), Monsters, Inc. (2001), and Dumbo (2019). He is also the lead singer of the Danish band Danseorkestret since 1984.
