ABOUT THE IMAGE: Rendered by Juan Ortiz, Legal Briefs demonstrates a court of law in the Looney Tunes world, where nothing is quite that “illegal” and “order” is never realized. As usual with the Looney Tunes, Ortiz’s rendition accurately parodies a situation while staying true to the characters’ personalities. Bugs is pensive, Foghorn regally persuasive, Taz is pernicious and Daffy petrified.
As a hand-painted cel, Legal Briefs was first silk-screened onto acetate, then painted on the reverse in the classic animation style. The background for Legal Briefs was painted by Hector Martinez, and reproduced using the fine art Giclee process.
