ABOUT THE IMAGE: As Sylvester invades the Automat and passes the Cream, Pumpkin and Chocolate Pie for a little slice of Tweety “Pie,” he’ll soon get more than he’s bargained for. In short, Sylvester, don’t chew with your mouth open if you can’t duck fast enough. Tweety “Pie” was drawn by Warner Brothers Director, Darrell Van Citters. It was hand inked by Laurie Dindis, and hand-painted. The background was painted by Hector Martinez, then die cut after printing to create the window effect of the Automat.

ABOUT:
Tom Everhart is a celebrated American painter whose work uniquely bridges the worlds of fine art and popular culture through his exclusive use of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts characters. Initially trained at Yale School of Art and later mentored by Schulz himself, Everhart transitioned from traditional illustration and architectural rendering to a bold, expressive painting style after a life-altering battle with cancer in the late 1980s.
"The "Posing" series did grow out of the previous "Hide and Seek" series that focused on the questions of one's attempt to hide their intellectual honesty in order to seek out a newly designed image... a "Poser" tsunami of posturing between who was being real, and who was obviously pretending to be real, often with the intent to deceive, could no longer be ignored." - Tom Everhart
