ABOUT THE IMAGE: The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, produced by Warner Bros. Animation, is an animated television series which aired from 1995 to 2000 on Kids' WB!, with the final episode airing in 2002 on Cartoon Network. The show follows Looney Tunes characters Sylvester and Tweety, along with their owner Granny and bulldog Hector (Sylvester's foil in many 1950s era shorts, here given a redesign similar to Marc Antony), as they solved mysteries around the world. Sylvester, of course, is still trying to eat Tweety in the meantime, with Hector acting as the bird's bodyguard.The first season was dedicated to the memory of Friz Freleng who had died three months before the series premiere. This piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.
ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original production cels are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-painted by studio artists on a piece of celluloid acetate, and has been photographed over a background painting to create a frame of the finished production.

Tom Everhart is a celebrated American painter whose work uniquely bridges the worlds of fine art and popular culture through his exclusive use of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts characters. Initially trained at Yale School of Art and later mentored by Schulz himself, Everhart transitioned from traditional illustration and architectural rendering to a bold, expressive painting style after a life-altering battle with cancer in the late 1980s.
