ABOUT THE IMAGE: "I had strings, but now I'm free! There are no strings on me!" Pinocchio participates in a traditional dance during the Russian segment of the entertaining "I Got No Strings" musical number from Walt Disney's beloved classic Pinocchio. This is a rare original animation drawing featuring the character in Stromboli's puppet show, rendered expertly in graphite and color pencil on a sheet of 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. It is exceptionally rare to find a drawing from this scene, and it bears official studio stamps with the production, sequence, and scene numbers 2003, 4.2, and 42.
ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original Production Drawings are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-drawn by a studio artist.
