ABOUT THE IMAGE: Based on the original Tinker Bell artwork from her debut in Walt Disney's 1953 film, Peter Pan, this Tinker Bell concept art inspired drawing was crafted by the hand of Mark Cote, the Character Designer for the 2008 Tinker Bell movie. Titled "The Many Expressions of Tink", this piece was part of a hand-numbered limited edition lithographic print series. Each print features eight hand-placed genuine Swarovski crystals accenting Tinker Bell's sparkles, and the print signature of Mark Cote. This piece is the first of only five of an artist print run - noted by the gel pen note AP 1/5 note written at the bottom left next to a Disney seal. Tinker Bell's five delightful expressions average at about 2.75" x 3.25" with the full figure rendering of Tink at approximately 6.25" x 6.75". The print is presented in a 24" x 19" Plexiglass fronted frame with a mat opening of 17.25" x 13".

ABOUT:
Tom Everhart is a celebrated American painter whose work uniquely bridges the worlds of fine art and popular culture through his exclusive use of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts characters. Initially trained at Yale School of Art and later mentored by Schulz himself, Everhart transitioned from traditional illustration and architectural rendering to a bold, expressive painting style after a life-altering battle with cancer in the late 1980s.
"The "Posing" series did grow out of the previous "Hide and Seek" series that focused on the questions of one's attempt to hide their intellectual honesty in order to seek out a newly designed image... a "Poser" tsunami of posturing between who was being real, and who was obviously pretending to be real, often with the intent to deceive, could no longer be ignored." - Tom Everhart
