ABOUT THE IMAGE: This final animation drawing of Sylvester was created by a Warner Bros. Studio animator in the production of an animated Looney Tunes or Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Friz Freleng, and a cel painting was made directly from it. It is likely the work of Manuel "Manny"Perez, an animator in Freleng's unit at WB from the mid 1940s to 1955.
