ABOUT THE IMAGE: “Kitty Kornered,” directed by Bob Clampett in 1946, depicts what can happen to Porky when his kitties go awry. Essentially, they take over the house, then plan a massive Martian invasion based on dressing themselves as Gremlins. “Kitty Kornered” is presented with an image of Porky, his three cats, and the title card that accompanied the animation short when it appeared in the theaters.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Bob Clampett was an American animator, director, producer and puppeteer known for his work on the Looney Tunes animated series from Warner Brothers. Clampett was promoted to a directorial position in 1937 and during his fifteen years at the studio, directed 84 cartoons later deemed classic and designed some of the studio's most famous characters, including Porky Pig, Daffy Duck and Tweety.
